Acer palmatum ‘Katsura' is a dense, compact, upright deciduous Japanese maple noted for its ever changing foliage. Featuring superb yellowish-orange foliage tinged with pink margins in spring, which becomes green in summer. During autumn the leaf changes colour again, taking on a bright orange hue before dropping. A great ornamental shrub or tree perfect to try as a focal point in your garden!

How to take care of Acer palmatum Katsura 19 cm pot
Water well upon receipt of the Japanischer Fächerahorn Acer palmatum. Require a neutral to acidic soil. Best position is somewhere you can see the sun shining through the leaves. Apply a top dressing of organic fertiliser during early spring but not at the time of planting wait for about 6 weeks before applying fertiliser for the first time. Give the young trees support by means of a cane. Never let the roots dry out. Pruning is not necessary but you can cut out dead wood in spring.
