How to take care of Amaryllis Carmen

Plant the Amaryllis Carmen bulb up to three quarters of its height in the pot. Water well after planting and then not again until the leaves appear above the bulb. Attention: compost should never be waterlogged as Amaryllis Carmen bulbs will only produce leaves at the expense of flowers.

Place the pots in direct sunlight at room temperature. Flowers appear 1-3 months after planting; depending how warm Amaryllis Carmen plants are kept and stage of flower development inside the bulb. After Care: After the Amaryllis Carmen flower fades, clip it off, leaving the green foliage.
