Excellent for full shade, the flowers on this striking clematis are a beautiful pale lilac pink colour with a cerise pink stripe down the centre of each flower, the flowers fade in areas of bright sun. A vigorous it can be easily trained to cover walls, trellises or arches. Only needs to have its roots shaded. This variety belongs to early large flowering prune group 2 that needs to be pruned in late winter or early spring and after its first flush of flowers in summer, this will encourage it to flower again later in summer.

How to take care of Clematis Nelly Moser
This Clematis loves a fertile soil in semi-shade. The base of the plant should always be in the shade (use some pot sherds if necessary). Remove the pt and spread out the roots into a spacious hole of about 12x12x12inch. Mix the soil with some potting soil. Press the soil around the roots and give plenty of water. Place some bamboo sticks around and attach the upgrowing vines. When the plant starts to grow it will attach itself with small grabbing fingers.The Clematis Nelly Moser is a clematis which you can prune lightly in june directly after the first bloom. You can fertilise in spring and during the flowering period with some organic fertiliser.
Clematis can be quite fussy-soil must be fertile and moist for best results.
