How to take care of Pieris Flaming Silver
For best results soak the roots for approx 2 hrs before planting and water well after planting and for the next few weeks. This is a long-lived hardy evergreen shrub. It thrives in acid lime free soil and dislikes chalky soils. You can plant in autumn or spring. Add peat at time of planting & plant in partial shade. They flower in April or May. This shrub does not like pruning much just cut back old straggly bits in late summer or autumn, remove dead flowers in May to encourage new flower buds.
