Planting Instructions
Soak the bare root plants in water for 12-18 hours before planting. Plant the Blue Hostas in moist soil in a shady or semi-sunny spot. Cover them with compost for the winter. Water well in the first few weeks after planting and avoid watering the leaves. Use shells or stones to keep slugs away.
Slug Protection
Protect Hostas in pots from slugs by placing a wide dish of water under the pot. Some Hosta species are less susceptible to slugs.
