How to take care of Standard Lavatera Bredon Springs
Water regularly, especially during the summer, always keeping it moist and not allowing it to dry out completely, otherwise the plant will die. Feed monthly during the growing season with a general liquid fertilizer. Prune regularly to maintain ball shape. Do not prune during periods of frost or allow snow to remain on the plant, as this will cause damage. If you're growing this tree in a pot, make sure the pot is well protected against severe winter frosts (below -15ºC), in one of two ways: Either bury the pot in the ground and mulch around the top with a few centimeters of bark or leaves or wrap the pot in a bag filled with straw and place it in a sheltered spot or you can move the pot inside an unheated room, they don't need much water in winter, however don't let the soil dry out completely.
