Schefflera Actinophylla is a large-leaved schefflera that is slightly different from the other known species with smaller leaves. The schefflera creates aerial roots in search of water or a high air humidity. Schefflera Actinophylla prefers a light spot. Be careful with full sun in the summer, otherwise your Schefflera is particularly easy to handle.

Care - Usage

How to take care of Schefflera Actinophylla 21 cm

Schefflera plants are not difficult to grow, providing you supply plenty of indirect sun light, warmth and humidity. Place the plant in a bright, indirect light position. In the summer, it can be moved outside in a shady position. They appreciate lots of humidity and will thrive in well drained soil. Water when top soil is dry to touch and never allow it to sit in water in the saucer. If temperature drops below 16 degrees Celsius they may experience some problems. Do not expose to draughts or dry heating vents. Use some house plant fertiliser after 6-8 weeks. Transplant to bigger pot when needed and ensure a good drainage system.
