How to take care of Tulip Kaufmanniana Mix
Tulips Kaufmanniana are ideal for planting at the front of the border, as they remain quite low. Plant at a depth of about 8-10 cm in well-worked soil. Fertilize with organic fertilizer in early spring just after frost and again during growth and flowering. Remove spent flowers after flowering. Then let the tulips grow until the leaf starts to change color and then remove the flower bulbs from the ground with the leaf still on. You can try to keep the Tulips Kaufmanniana by removing the dried leaves and keeping them dry and cool until autumn. Then only replant the largest bulbs and keep in mind that most kaufmanniana tulips no longer bloom as beautifully the second year.
