A outstanding combination of two very popular Alliums. Flowering at the same time helps to create a stunning effect in spring. They make perfect cut flowers for fresh and dried flower arrangements.
Atropurpurem produces spherical clusters of deep purple-red florets surrounding purplish black centers on tall sturdy stems.
Allium nigrum produces attractive flat-topped globular flowers; the florets are creamy white sometimes-tinged pink with black ovaries poised on tall sturdy yet delicate stems.

How to take care of Allium Combo Nigrum/atropurpureum x 20
As a general rule –Plant Allium Combo Nigrum/atropurpureum in good light well-drained soil at a depth of 3 times the height of the bulb. Large flowering Alliums prefer full sun, but all other Alliums will tolerate partial shade. Allium Combo Nigrum/atropurpureum dislike been disturbed, so leave Allium Combo Nigrum/atropurpureum for few years untouched. Divide clumps in autumn every 3-4 years of so. You can improve heavy soil by mixing in some builders sand. Place Allium Combo Nigrum/atropurpureum bulbs with the 'nose' upward into the soil. Always water well after planting to stimulate growth. For best results, as the buds materialize, add a high potash liquid feed in early spring to fertilize. Allow foliage to die back naturally as this will send nutrients to Allium Combo Nigrum/atropurpureum bulbs for next year’s bloom. Please note to survive harsh winters apply a mulch (straw or newspaper) over them to avoid any frost damage. Remove when all danger of frost has passed.
