This pretty dwarf growing hardy Aquilegia or Columbines bloom with deep blue and white flowers on attractive silver grey clover-like foliage in late spring. In the garden it can be used as a ground cover, between rocks or in alpine gardens. Grows best with morning sun and afternoon shade. Works well with other early flowering bulbs.

How to take care of Aquilegia flabellata Ministar
Aquilegia is perfect for rock gardens, raised beds, planters or window boxes. Ensure the planting site is in sun to partial shade with well-drained humus rich soil. They do not always produces flowers in their first summer. In hot areas plant the plants sheltered form direct sunray's, some early morning sun is sufficient. These dislike clay soils and thrive in well drained yet moist soils. PLEASE NOTE: ALL PARTS OF THE AQUILEGIA ARE POISONOUS!!!
