How to take care of Astilbe Japonica Europa
Plant Tawu³ka japoñska Europa in well-prepared moist soil; mix the topsoil with 50% potting compost. Plant the tubers according to the instruction on the package not showing above the ground and cover well. Tawu³ka japoñska Europa prefer a sunny to partially shady position and must not be allowed to dry out. In warmer climates a thick mulch layer of well-rotted manure helps the soil to retain moisture, and in colder areas it will help protect again frost damage. Flowers will appear all summer. Divide well-established clumps every 4 years.
Please soak the bare roots for 12-18 hours (do not exceed 24 hours). This allows them to take up the maximum amount of water without doing any injury to the plant.
