Astrantia major Buckland is a hardy herbaceous perennial which means it will die back to ground level in winter. Astrantia major Buckland needs sun but prefer a cool partially shaded position. Use a well-drained soil that retains moisture mixed with organic matter. Flowering period is between summer and autumn. Take away dead flower heads after flowering. Lift and divide every 3-4years.
