How to take care of Blackberry Thornless
Plant in well-worked soil mixed with some compost in a preferably sunny spot in the garden. After harvest, prune old fruiting branches down to the ground and let the young branches continue to grow, because they will bear fruit next year. After 5 years you can rejuvenate the entire bush by removing everything in the winter and letting the bush sprout completely new. Plant Blackberries in a vegetable garden along a taut wire, along which you tie the main branches and place a sturdy pole at the end and in the middle for support and to bring the whole under tension. Wire height approx. 110 cm. This way you can harvest the fruits on both sides. In a regular garden you can guide the plant along a climbing frame (tie it up properly). Keep the growth of the plant well under control by means of pruning because it is a fast grower.
