Bonsai Ilex crenata is an outdoor tree native to Japan and Russia. It has very small dark green leaves. The Bonsai flowers in the summer with white petty flowers followed by black berries. The roots are exposed and rise up from the ground that this is what makes it a spectacular bonsai appreciated by amateurs.
