How to take care of Cordyline fruticosa Kiwi
Cordyline fruticosa should be maintained at a minimum temperature of 18°C (64°F). For best results it requires free draining medium fertile soil and placed in a partial sun position, avoid direct sunlight. In summer you can water freely and feed weekly but in winter water sparingly. Fertilise with liquid fertilisers, high nitrogen in warm seasons and increased potash in colder seasons. Very little fertilising needs to be done to plants grown in low light conditions, twice a year should suffice. Possible problems include over or under watering, insufficient nutrients, infestation by red spider mites, mealy bugs or scale, and temperature too low.
