How to use DCM Potting Soil for Orchids 2.5 ltr

Choose the right pot:Consider the soil the plant needs and provide adequate space for the roots.Provide adequate space for the roots. When repotting choose a pot that is 1 to 2 sizes larger than the old pot.Choose also a pot with drainage holes, so the excess water drains.Repot your orchid after flowering or when growth stops. Cover the bottom of the pot with a layer of DCM hydro grain.Make the DCM Orchid potting soil loose and fill the pot partly. Leave enough room for the root ball.Remove the plant from the old pot and loosen the roots gently, letting you remove old soil as much as possible. Take care not to damage roots. Put the plant at the desired height in the pot and fill in further with DCM soil. Let a pouring edge of about 2 cm.Water with tepid rainwater or demineralized water for a good contact between the roots and the soil. This promotes the growth of the plant after repotting.
