How Use? • Choose the right pot: • Consider the position where the pot will stand, in a sunny location the soil will dry out more quickly and it is recommended to use a larger pot than for a shady place. The bigger the pot, the more soil there is and the less frequently you should water. • Choose a pot that is 1 to 2 sizes larger than the old pot when repotting. • Cover the bottom of the pot with a layer of DCM hydro grain. These beads prevent the drainage holes from becoming blocked with potting soil or plant roots. • Loosen the DCM soil well and fill the pot partly. Leave enough room for the root ball. • Remove the plant from the pot and loosen the roots gently, letting you remove old soil as much as possible. Make sure the root ball is sufficiently moist before repotting. • Put the plant in the desired height in the pot and fill in further with DCM soil. Let a pouring edge of about 2 cm. • Press the soil down to make quite a good contact between the roots and the soil. This promotes the growth of the plant after the repotting. If necessary, you can headland the pot with DCM hydro grain, this prevents the splashing of potting soil in the water, and ensures that the soil dries out less quickly.
