How to take care of Deutzia crenata Pride of Rochester
For best results soak the roots for approx 2 hrs before planting and water well after planting and for the next few weeks. Its needs space for it's arching stems. Plant it in sun or partial shade and you will be rewarded with lots and lots of flowers. Use a well-drained fertile soil that does not dry out. Apply mulch and feed regularly in spring. Does best when pruned annually. Prune after flowering, prune back shoots, which have flowered. Cut out old unproductive wood.
