Planting Instructions
- Plant the Amaryllis Red bulb up to three quarters of its height in a well-drained pot.
- Water the bulb well after planting, and then refrain from watering until the leaves appear above the bulb. Avoid waterlogged compost as it can hinder flower production.
- Place the pots in direct sunlight at room temperature for optimal growth.
Care Instructions
After the Amaryllis Red flowers appear, continue watering regularly and fertilize the plant to support healthy growth.
In summer, stop watering the plant and allow it to dry out. This rest period helps the bulb regain strength.
In September, remove the bulb from the pot, taking care not to damage the roots. Store the bulb in a cool, dark place for about 8 to 10 weeks.
After the rest period, repot the bulb in a slightly larger pot and place it in a sunny spot. Start watering again and resume the feeding program.
