Botanical Crocuses Mix x 20
Botanical Crocuses Mix x 20
Botanical Crocuses Mix brings a cheerful mix of colours from a compact, early-season crocus assortment. Plant the bulbs in small groups for a natural, charming drift of colour in the garden.
Location
Best planted outdoors, where the bulbs can be scattered in the border, tucked into a rock garden, or dotted through the lawn for a relaxed, natural effect.
Contents
This pack contains 20 botanical crocus bulbs in a mixed selection, giving a varied display of colour as the season begins.
Growth habit and size
A low-growing crocus mix that stays compact, reaching around 1–10 cm in height once established. The flowers appear in winter and are followed by slender foliage.
Plant care
Plant the bulbs about 8–10 cm deep and let them settle in naturally. A light feed before flowering in early spring supports strong growth, and letting the plant die back after flowering helps it return well the following season.
Winter hardiness
Hardy down to –25°C. When grown in pots, it helps to protect the containers against freezing conditions in winter.
