How to take care of Mirabillis 4 o clock plant x 5
Plant root downward/vertical in the soil. Mirabillis 4 o clock plant is not a hardy, and should be planted like Dahlias after the last spring frost. Mirabillis 4 o clock plant likes very fertile soil in which it will form a large handsome bush that flowers prolifically from summer, when the tubers can be lifted and dried for storage. Mirabillis 4 o clock plant will grow in poor sandy soils. New plants grow quickly from seed. Seeds can be collected daily and planted outside after last frosts. Seeds are poisonous if ingested. In early spring, while plants are emerging, regular watering will get them off to a good start. Please soak the bare roots for 12-18 hours (do not exceed 24 hours). This allows them to take up the maximum amount of water without doing any injury to the plant.
