How to take care of Ophiopogon japonicus Minor
Grows best in dry, well-drained soil in part shade or sun. Will form good ground cover in dry shade when established. The rootstock spreads slowly so that, planted in drifts, the individual plants eventually merge together into mounding ground cover. It will tolerate any position but needs some compromise - if grown in full sun it requires a moist soil, conversely tolerating dry roots if in shade. Divide clumps in spring.
