How to take care of Genista lydia
For best results soak the roots for approx 2 hrs before planting and water well after planting and for the next few weeks. Plant it in well-drained soil in a full sun position and water well after planting. If possible choose a position that is not exposed to prolonged cold winds. Will do well in nearly all soil types but does best if the soil is a poor, sandy ground. After flowering cut back old, which faded blooms but do not prune into old wood. Pinch out the tips of shoots to encourage bushy growth. ALL PARTS OF THIS PLANT ARE HARMFUL IF EATEN.
