This striking dwarf Gladioli produces spikes of pinkish-red flowers with white accents on strap-like foliage and short stems. Robinetta provides lots of flowers with numerous side shoots, they also make exceptional cut flowers. They like full sun and well drained soil. Mulch over during winter and they will re appear next year.

How to take care of Gladiolus nanus Robinetta x 10

These miniature hybrids bloom from early to mid summer. Plant in well-manured, well-drained soil that is neutral to slightly acidic. Choose a sunny site and plant the corms on a layer of sand in spring. If planted in summer flowering may take another year. Gladioli Nanus is hardy but needs thick mulch covering in winter. Excellent for cutting and as pot plants. If taken indoors store in a cool but frost-free place until the following spring.
