This butterhead variety produces a good source of beta-carotene and Vitamin A. To get a better germination, lettuce seed needs a relatively low temperature; germination is erratic in warm weather. Sow early spring under glass in seedbed or from mid spring until late summer in open ground in rows.

How to take care of Lettuce all year round
Sow from mid spring until mid summer in a seedbed in open ground. Prick out 3 -4 weeks after sowing. For a good boilogical we advise you to sow radish next to the lettuce, but do not sow parsley mainly due to their attractiveness to the same pests that attack lettuce.
