How to take care of Lilium Trumpet African Queen 12/14 x 3
Plant Lilies in a good composting soil, at a depth of 12-14 cm. If the lilies come above the ground, give an extra fertilization by means of a fertilizer. organic fertilizer (cow manure granules). NB! During growth, red beetles (lily cockerels) can move onto the leaves. Remove these by hand (they are slow) and also remove their larvae that reside on the underside of the leaves. They can cause a lot of damage. Spray with a pesticide if necessary. Allow the lilies to grow out after flowering and remove the branches when they are brown and dead. Treat them further as perennials by fertilizing April - June with NPK 12-10-18 in the spring.
