How to take care of Lonicera Dropmore Scarlet
HONEYSUCKLE Choose a position with sun or partial shade. It's important for the base of the plant to be in some shade and its head in some sun. You can create this by adding broken tiles or pots to the soil, or even cover with some stones. Honeysuckles require a moist and fertile well-drained soil enriched with plenty of leaf mould. Water and feed in their growing season. Take off unwanted and old stems when the flowering period has finished. If honeysuckles are pruned wrongly, then it could mean the loss of flowers for the following or present year. This variety of honeysuckle tends to flower on wood/growths made the previous year, so should be cut back after flowering late July or August.
