Orange Tree 20-30 cm
Orange Tree 20-30 cm
Citrus is a compact Calamondin orange tree grown for its evergreen foliage, white spring flowers and edible fruit, bringing a bright, decorative touch to a sunny patio.
Location
Place in a sunny spot outdoors, where it can be enjoyed on a patio, balcony or terrace.
Growth habit and size
Over time it develops into a compact citrus tree, reaching around 125–150 cm tall with a spread of about 60–80 cm.
Plant care
Grow in a pot and start it in a larger container with a drainage layer in the base. A mix of rhododendron compost and sand suits it well, and it benefits from feeding during the growing season.
Winter hardiness
This citrus is not hardy, so it’s best to protect it during colder periods. As a container plant, it can be moved to a sheltered, cool place for overwintering.
