How to take care of Parrotia Persica
Choose the planting location well as they dislike being transplanted. This slow growing tree does well in acidic or lime rich soils. Plant in a sunny sheltered position in well-drained soil. Pruning is not necessary but if desired, trees can be cut back hard in winter or lightly trimmed after flowering. Mulch every couple of years to feed.
