How to take care of Power Collection
Water the root ball upon receipt. Plant in free well-draining soil that has been enriched with well-rotted garden compost or manure. Choose a sheltered position in the sun or partial shade. Pull out any unwanted suckers before planting and plant just below the soil surface. It is better to place a bamboo stick in and tie the canes to wires or fence for support. Water regularly and thoroughly during dry weather- keep the water off the stems. They require feeding in spring and summer when established. Prune between November-March and after 2years cut out weak and diseased branches. Always give winter protection against frost by applying some mulch and covering it at night time and removing it during the day. When the fruits start to appear, you will need to protect them from the birds, draping nets over it can do this. Only picked fruit when fully ripe. Usually produces fruit in their second or third year.
