Both the leaves and flowers are edible. Rosemary helps to increase circulation and to clear respiratory congestion, including sinuses and asthma. March-April in a propagator or April-June in a seedbed outdoors; prick out once by transferring partially developed seedlings to larger pots before their roots become too entwined and plant out later. Subject to frost and wind damage in colder areas. If necessary, pot up as a winter kitchen plant.

How to take care of Rosemary officinalis
March-April in a propagator or April-June in a seedbed outdoors; prick out once by transferring partially developed seedlings to larger pots before their roots become too entwined and plant out later when the plants are approx 10cm. Rosemary needs very little care during the year. Water only when the compost has dried out and feed once a month with liquid fertiliser from April until October. Subject to frost and wind damage in colder areas. If necessary, pot up as a winter kitchen plant.
