Suitable for displaying on a patio or as a centrepiece on a lawn it’s extremely showy deep purple-blue blossoms can be recognized from a distance. Care - Usage

How to take care of Standard Buddleja

Plant in a large planter with drainage holes and place a layer of pebbles in the bottom of the pot to ensure good drainage or it can be planted directly into the ground. It prefers a chalky soil and a sunny well sheltered position. Stake the shrub until it is strong enough to withstand the wind itself. Prune into shape in Feb. - March. During harsh winters you may need to bring pot grown trees indoors to an unheated room until it warms up. The Vlinderstruik (Buddleja Davidii) op Stam should be kept in shape by pruning the plant in between. The Vlinderstruik (Buddleja Davidii) op Stam will then still develop beautiful flowers.
