Care - Usage

How to take care of Sweet Peas Colorama

They can be sown directly in the ground from early spring until early summer once any chance of frost has passed. Soak seed for 24 hours to soften the seed coating before planting 2-3cms deep in well drained soil. Space plants 15cm apart in a sunny location. Attach the sweet peas to canes for support when they reach approx 30cm tall, tie strong shoots to canes and regularly pinch off side shoots and tendrils. Fertilise regularly with Tomato fertiliser, the addition of bone meal to the soil prior to planting keeps the stems strong. Regular deadheading will keep them blooming longer.
