Hydrangea Petite® Cherry is a beautiful compact growing hydrangea that flowers profusely. Flowering starts at the end of June, which is very early. The flowers turn from lime green to dark red in September. Hortenisia Petite® Cherry is completely filled with beautiful flowers.

How to take care of Hydrangea paniculata Petite Cherry 12 cm pot
Hydrangeas require a moisture retentive soil that is enriched with organic matter such as peat. Thrives best in partial shade. Choose a sheltered position against a wall or under a tree but avoid hedges. Protect against severe frost in winter. Do not remove dead flower heads - leave them on through the winter as they help protect the plant from frost. To maintain a specific height they may be pruned immediately after blooming as flower buds are formed on previous season's growth. In spring, feed established plants with a fertiliser and apply a thick layer of mulch for protection of the roots. Colour is strongly affected by the level of PH and aluminium in the soil. Fertiliser can be added in spring to enhance the coloration. In colder regions, flower buds may freeze without protection.
