How to take care of Tulip Greigii Miskodeed
Ideal for rock gardens, borders and containers. Plant the bulbs in well-drained prepared soil in a sunny sheltered spot. If planted in flower pots, plant them so they're just touching and place pots in a sunny location. Place the bulbs with the 'nose' upward into the soil (approximately 10-12 cm deep and 5 cm apart) cover with soil. Always water well after planting to stimulate growth. For best results, as the buds materialise, add a high potash liquid feed to fertilise. Please note to survive harsh winters apply a mulch (straw or newspaper) over them to prevent frost damage. Remove mulch when all danger of frost has passed. After flowering fertilise with nitrogen and allow the leaves to die back naturally, cut the leaves off when they turn completely yellow. Lift the bulbs and store the dry bulbs in a cool but frost-free place, protect from mice. Replant in Autumn.
