Celery Golden self blanching is an early variety, full of flavour and disease resistant; its stalks are thick and heavy, but with no strings. One of the best varieties around and widely used in cooking or eating fresh in salads!

How to take care of Celery Golden
Celery needs a very rich, moderately acidic, organic soil and lots of water. Start indoors 12 weeks prior to transplanting outdoors. Sow in early spring in frames, prick out once by transferring partially developed seedlings to larger pots before their roots become too entwined and plant out mid spring when all danger of frost has passed, or sow from mid spring in seedbed and plant out. Harvest starts from September to October.
To blanch attach paper around the the plants from August onwards.
