How to take care of Eucalyptus Gunnii
For best results soak the roots for approx 2 hrs before planting and water well after planting and for the next few weeks. This is a hardy variety. Choose a full sun position, with a bit of shelter from the cold winds. It requires a well-drained moist soil; avoid chalky/sandy soils. Apply a thick layer of mulch in winter to help stop the soil from freezing and to protect the roots. Prune to your desired size in springtime. Distance: if planted in a border 1 meter between trees. Growing height in pot 1m. Please note that some plants will be completely dormant when delivered, which will make the plants appear dead. Please do not worry, after planting they will develop normally and from late spring onwards they will develop into fully fledged plants.
