Description

This charming wooden planter comes complete with 2 hardy Violets and compost. Viola purple wing produces lots of highly fragrant violet and orange flowers non-stop for months on end with the minimum of attention. This rustic green planter has a handle and a metal plaque on the front; it is made from distressed wood and measures 20cm long. It makes a great little set for outdoors on a windowsill or patio.

Care - Usage

How to take care of Viola Purple wing with Green dream

Water on a regular basis to prevent the soil from drying out! Place your Violas in a sunny spot. The pansy Viola plants are hardy. Remove dead flower heads regularly. Trim back the plants after flowering and feed with liquid fertiliser to promote flowering. Pansies do not like heat at all and will begin to decline as the days warm up but with the correct care they should flower again the following year.

SOIL TABLET INSTRUCTIONS: (a brown disc of compressed earth) Place the tablet in a bucket and add 1 pint of water. After 20 min. the tablet will have absorbed the water. Break up any lumps left and mix until you have a fine loose structure. Mix the compost tablet with garden topsoil so it can function as a conditioner for your soil. This helps to retain moisture. Fertilse the soil every two weeks with a soluble fertililser
