How to take care of Hydrangea paniculata Polar Bear
Remove the Hydrangea paniculata Polar Bear from the pot and untangle the root ball slightly, allowing the roots to grow outwards and not remain in the shape of the growing pot. This will allow it to absorb water better in drought conditions. Soaking the root ball in a bucket of water for 10-12 hours before planting will give the plant a head start. Once you have decided where you want to plant the plant, dig a hole deep enough so that the entire root ball of Hydrangea paniculata Polar Bear remains just below the surface of the earth. Mix the soil in the planting hole with some potting soil so that water is retained but excess water drains away.Place the plant in the planting hole with the roots spread out and replenish the soil. Water well and then press firmly. After 4 weeks, add a handful of organic fertiliser on top of the soil around the Hydrangea paniculata Polar Bear. The Hydrangea paniculata Polar Bear flowers on new shoots, so you can simply prune it back after flowering.
