The young foliage is a spectacular transparent red-purple and stunning when the sun shines through it. Later in the season the leaves turn to a deep purple-brown -red before falling in autumn. It’s a great specimen for a vibrant splash of colour for a freestanding location in your garden.

How to take care of Japanese Acer palmatum Atropurpurea 9 cm
