Blackberry Navaho produces a heavy crop of large, firm juicy sweet blackberry fruit with good flavour and packed full of vitamins. It’s is the world's first erect-growing thornless blackberry so no need for a trellis with this variety. The fruits can be harvested easily on this thornless bush without hurting your hands. In addition, this blackberry variety also has a pretty good disease resistant.

How to take care of Blackberry Navaho Thornless
Soak the roots for approx. 2 hrs before planting and water well after planting and for the next few weeks. This is a hardy deciduous Rubus Fruticosus Navaho shrub thrives in a sunny sheltered position but will tolerate partial shade. In colder areas, plant Rubus Fruticosus Navaho near a south-facing wall. Use a well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. They will not tolerate heavy, wet soil. Drought tolerant once established. Rubus Fruticosus Navaho do well in various soil types. Rubus Fruticosus Navaho likes to be constantly moist, but not wet. Do not use any stimulants, fertiliser or bonemeal at planting time as such products will 'burn' any new root growth. During the active growing season an occasional feed or a light top dress with a base fertiliser will prove beneficial. Container-grown Rubus Fruticosus Navaho plants should be brought indoors in extreme winter conditions.
