How to take care of Gloriosa superba Rothschildiana
Plant horizontally not vertically just below the surface of the pot. Add a little gritty sand to aid drainage as must not sit in waterlogged soil or they will rot. is a climber so give support with a frame (or you can grow it up another tall sturdy plant. blooms throughout the summer and prefers a sunny to partially shady position in your conservatory or a cool greenhouse. Keep it moist but well drained in rough, rich soil. When the vine is well on its way, it responds well to feeding with a liquid fertiliser. Stop watering and feeding in the autumn and keep the tubers dry and frost free during the winter. WARNING: Harmful if eaten.
