This Chinese Aster is a wonderful addition to your garden, it produces long lasting multicoloured spider-like blooms prolifically late summer when most other flowers have faded. Removing the faded flower heads prolongs the blooming period. Also suitable for growing in pots and planters. Makes a fantastic cut flower. Sow mid March - mid April under frames or mid April - mid May in beds in open ground; transplant after 5-6 weeks. Germination: 8 - 12 days. Keep soil moist during germination.
