This Firethorn is a strong dense evergreen shrub with glossy foliage and sprays of white flowers in early summer, followed by bright orange berries in autumn. Grows freestanding or guided along a wall or arch to a height of 4 mt. Resistant to pyracantha scab!

Care - Usage

How to take care of Pyracantha coccinea Golden Charmer 19 cm

For best results soak the roots for approx 2 hrs before planting, water well after planting and for the next few weeks. Grows best in a soil with a low lime content. Needs a sunny location and well drained soil. To keep the size of the plant in shape and to encourage the most colourful bark, remove a third of the stems back to ground level each spring. Fertilise in spring. Take cuttings in November to February.
