How to take care of Physocarpus opulifolius Fire Side 9 cm pot
For best results soak the roots for approx 2 hrs before planting and water well after planting and for the next few weeks. Physiocarpus is a hardy deciduous shrub with exuberant clusters of tiny white flowers that appear in mid spring to early summer. They are suitable for the back of borders. You can plant between late autumn & mid spring. Choose a full sun location. They do best in a moist acid soil, avoid chalky ground. They require very little pruning but may be trimmed between late autumn & early spring to keep them in shape & prevent straggling.
